AN OPEN LETTER TO Femi Fani-Kayode BY NIGERIA WE TRUST MOVEMENT

In as much as we appreciate the boldness to have written an open letter to our cherished incorruptible and highly respected leader, our group is non political and none regional in nature.  We deem it necessary to write this open letter to FFK not because of anything but to bring to the notice of Nigerians and its friends locally and abroad that the open letter written by FFK to Mr. President has a sinister intention which is most unfortunate. Traditionally, we have so many decent ways of advising even your juniors there are many decent ways to do this if truly he has no ulterior motive of tarnishing the image of the President, even though the constitution avails him such opportunities which most people misuse including Mr. Fani-Kayode. It is on record and everyone is aware that FFK is someone who speaks with both sides of his mouth that is why we laughed when we read the open letter he wrote to the President.  Mr. Fani-Kayode is someone who should not be taken serious for obvious reasons:

They were the same people who wrecked the country to where it is and all Nigerians know this. Its also on record that FFK and Co. were the same people who caused the Boko Haram which was testified by a former NSA (Name withheld) and gave them all the necessary support to strive to the present level.  FFK is a Lunatic who sees no good In anything except it is beneficial to him.  Yet he can have the wisdom to advice the President whose lifestyle right from his youth to his present status maintained an upright conduct and lifestyle. Having said that we have nothing to do with the letter he wrote to the president but the content of the letter is what cast a doubt in the sincerity of purpose.  The fact of the matter is, all the present predicament faced by Nigerians including the group cannot be disconnected from the previous regime of corruption insolence and unprecedented order.  Therefore making reference to the former President Mr.  Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is not out of place (Jonathan is a good and humble man) but those who worked with him were the same people who messed up his regime and caused this unbearable hardship including FFK.

According to Nigeria Military and eyewitnesses in the North East, the  fight against Boko Haram is on course and terrorists are degraded and decimated. Suicide bombing and attacks on soft target, as they cannot claim any territory. On security issues, FFK does not need to advice the President who is a veteran. As shown yesterday on Aljazeera our Nigerian troops are in Sambisa Forest fishing out terrorists and we should believe them and what FFK stated is a mere insinuation which does not in any way hold water. This portrays him as an enemy who wants this criminal activity to continue for his personal gain.

On the issue of Boko Haram reclaiming liberated towns and Local governments its obvious that Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode is totally disconnected from what is happening in the country he is speaking from his base enjoying his loot outside the country trying to cause chaos and confusion. Nigerians cannot be deceived and the eyes of Nigerians are wide open against such talks which is filled with lies and deception.  The best preaching is preaching to yourself first, advice yourself first before you advice others.  If truly FFK is not disconnected, he should mention the names of towns and Local Governments claimed by Boko Haram as stated in his open letter. Whatever happens, we are in high spirit, highly optimistic that the war against terrorism will be won with the support of all Nigerians and security agencies and above all with God on our side this war will soon be over.

If not for the diversion of funds by FFK and his group which was  meant for procurement of arms the security forces would have finished this war long ago. See the chain of shame as a result of the sharing formula of the loot. Why didn’t FFK advice his group not to steal the money meant for procuring arms to fight Terrorists. Therefore your advice will not hold water but rather bury yourself in shame as Nigerians will no longer be taken for granted by unpatriotic elements like you.

On the issue raised by FFK on Chibok girls, where was Jonathan when the girls were abducted. May I also remind you that it took over 7 days for the President Jonathan to believe there was really a kidnap in Chibok.  Where were you then, why didn’t you stick your heads out and advice  accordingly and bring out the girls from where they are.  Severally your regime claimed they knew where the girls were but you could not rescue them. It's a shame.  If you are really patriotic you should have written an open letter to Jonathan then.

On daily basis, we hear the efforts of the military in rescuing so many people from the arms of terrorists. I believe as a nation, we should be more concerned with rescuing everyone kidnapped by the terrorists and not only the Chibok girls which we are praying on daily basis for their rescue.  On the well being of soldiers in the North East. Based on reports in the media which is also attested to by all Nigerians, soldiers and security agents fighting in the North East are in high spirit and they are doing well. During the last regime there were cases of soldiers deserting the war front because they had no weapon to fight.  But presently Nigerians can attest to the fact that the soldiers are in high spirit, patriotic and working hard to ensure peace is restored in this nation. FFK the game you are playing is a dangerous one as it is obvious you are not living in the present Nigeria or better still you are a schemer who derive pleasure in sowing discord and confusion in the minds of people be rest assured that this will not only consume you but it will also consume everyone around you.

We are amazed that the trial of Dazuki is becoming an issue to you. For the record, its not business as usual impunity will no longer be tolerated and we support the government in its fight against corruption, corrupt leaders, office holders and anyone found wanting must be prosecuted.  Saying people should not be tried for this kind of colossal misdemeanour  then you are not a lover of your country.  This is the source of the country's predicament whereby citizens are denied of all the benefits God has endowed us with as a nation. He should honestly not be talking at this time, but rather bury your head in shame. Corruption and any corrupt person has no place in this country by the grace of God and we stand firm against any corrupt person like you and whoever is found wanting irrespective of his position, religion and tribe the person must be prosecuted and this is what the President is doing its either you join hands with him or you keep quiet.

Calling your fathers age mate a liar shows you lack decorum and you have no respect for elders and leaders because this really shows the type of person you are.  The group reaffirms its support to the President, our security agents and to all well meaning Nigerians to move this nation forward, devoid of people like you. We therefore, advice people not to bother with what Kayode said and the letter he purportedly sent to our President.  May God bless our Country Nigeria, President and all Nigerians.

We wish you all a prosperous and glorious new year 2016
