DHQ URGES CITIZENS TO BE MORE SECURITY CONSCIOUS

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has once again reminded the citizens to be more security conscious during the new year and beyond. The DHQ made the call in view of the new tactics being employed by terrorists to detonate bombs in places of worship and social gatherings.
The advised has become expedient in view of the latest tactics of the terrorists to perpetuate their evils acts, especially in Mosques, Churches, market places, motor parks and other social gathering.

It has been revealed that suicide bombers now get access to homes especially those near mosques and market places to request for water to perform ablution to pray.  

This new antics of the terrorists were employed recently in Maiduguri and as such calls for more vigilance from the citizens in general and residents of villages and towns in North East in particular.

The DHQ therefore warns the civil populace to be suspicious of such strange females folk asking for water for ablution or any other sundry request, as all those intrigues are calculated ploy to gain access to designated areas to detonate their bombs and cause lost of innocent lives and property.


The DHQ assures the citizens of their security and safety and request all the cooperation and support by the security agencies in their efforts to stamp out terrorists and other criminal activities in our nation.
