The AS Roma footballer and his Italian girlfriend Sharon Canu are due to welcome a baby boy in March, according to The Sun.
The 34-year-old player is delighted about the impending new arrival and is more pleased his first child will be a boy.
Canu’s grandfather Buzzelli confirmed the news of Ashley Cole’s joy to the newsmen, saying: ‘Ashley is very happy. He’s a good guy – and my granddaughter is a beauty.’
Sharon Canu, an Italian model is allegedly six months pregnant and was first spotted out clubbing with the former Chelsea player back in June.
According to reports from some quarters, Ashley Cole’s ex Cheryl is already aware of the news, but didn’t hear it directly from her ex-husband.

The former golden couple tied the knot in a lavish £1million ceremony in July 2006, only to split three-and-a-half years later in September 2010, as a result of the left-back’s multiple alleged infidelities.
Ashley was first exposed for cheating on Cheryl in 2008 with hairdresser Aimee Walton. Cheryl was hurt for a long period but recently announced she has moved on with her life.
