Buhari Blames Stakeholders For Persisted Fuel Scarcity

President Muhammadu Buhari has begged Nigerians over the persisted fuel scarcity experienced across the country since October. Buhari made this apology during the presentation of the 2016 budget to a joint session of the National Assembly on Tuesday, December 22, in Abuja.
He blamed the cause of the scarcity on stakeholders in the petroleum industry who according to him have refused to embrace change, PM News reports.
Buhari assured Nigerians that the current scarcity will be the thing of the past as he had mandated the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation to explore ways to end the scarcity as quick as possible.
The present administration stated that Jonathan’s government had stopped payment for fuel subsidy as far back as August 2014 stating that Nigerians are now paying for Jonathan’s past sins.
