Sofia Vergara relaxed at a pool party while fianceJoe Manganiello hit the gym hours before their wedding at The Breakers Hotel & Resort in Palm Beach, Fla., on Sunday, Nov. 22. “Sofia threw a private pool party for wedding guests this morning,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “Sofia and Joe’s family sat in bungalows around the pool, it was mainly just family and close friends — other guests did their own thing. There were giant inflatable swans and rafts in the pool that said ‘love’ all over them with red and pink flowers everywhere.”
Despite dancing the night away at her rehearsal dinner the night before — where the Magic Mike hunk, 38, also serenaded his soon-to-be wife with Guns N' Roses’ “Sweet Child O' Mine” — the Modern Family star, 43, was full of energy, playing with kids and her little nieces and nephews. Meanwhile, Manganiello prepped for the wedding by pumping iron.
“Joe headed to the gym for a last-minute workout,” the insider says. “Joe lifted weights and did some circuit training exercises for a little, before heading back to get ready.” Vergara also spent the day before her wedding relaxing poolside with family and friends — including her costars Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
“She was glowing and looked beautiful and spent the day laughing and snacking on fruits, smoothies, pita chips, hummus, and lots of water,” a source told Us of the Colombian bombshell, who wore a lacy white cover-up with a plunging neckline. A-list guests at the star-studded affair include Manganiello’s Magic Mike costarsMatt Bomer, Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, and Vergara’s costars Ty Burrell and Ed O’Neill. Vergara will wear a custom Zuhair Murad gown for the romantic nuptials, while her groom will don a John Varvatos suit.
